Yam Cake Yummers!!

Last night was a wonderful night as I went to David Copperfield magic show!! Its soo UNREAL!! YAY!! This morning I decided to make yam cake! Had to go all the way to Richmond to get yam but it was on the way as I went to get gumboot and my coverall for stupid proteins class!!

So this is my pretty yam cake!! Woo hoo. It is made me me ok and its edible!

People think studying food technology is about cooking. PEOPLE OUT THERE!! It is not! Cooking is just my interest! Studying food technology does not teach you how to cook. They teach us about food safety, food processing and how food are done in the commercial way! LOL... If Food technology is teaching people how to cook I rather go take a chef course or watever. As there is so much readings and assignments and reports to do. I have 3 tests this coming week and 4 assignments due *sob sob* back to work now :D

Haven't been in blogging mood for a very long time. Was so busy with school work and exams then HOLIDAY!!! Now back in Melbourne and back to school. This semester I'm taking Food Technology Stream which my course has this split stream into Food Tech or Nutrition. Food Tech Stream subjects are Food Chemistry, Food Microbiology and either confectionary or grains technology and of course I took Confectionary! I had my 1st practical for confectionary. It was really fun. My group had to do Hard Candies which we made butterscotch and acid drops which was easy and fun. My friends did nougat and marshmallows which were more complicated but yummy!! I keep stealing their product to eat!! HAHA....

Today I had a fren telling me some frens hate me because I complain too much! haha... Pretty emo.. coz I really treat them like really nice. But I do complain that they always make me wait and are always late when we're meeting up! Sometimes I do think people take other people for granted. Life is not fair :( Like my mum told me before, just because you treat people nice and you do stuff for them but sometimes people just don't appreciate it and yet they take you for granted! AIHHH..... Hope I'm not someone like that when I'm complaining LOL....

All about Last Week!

It was a busy week last week as I had like heaps of work piled up and I did not enjoy my last weekend! I had online test for microbiology and prac dues and stuff. I'm kinda excited as I've already handed in my application to Milan!! Hopefully the study tour is not cancelled. I really wanna go to MILAN!!! HERE I COME!!

Last wednesday which was my day off I made lasagna with mash potato and apple crumble and ice cream for dessert!! (** to mabel YES it is edible!!**) It was fun. Invited zhongyong over for dinner as well.

Well now to the weekend, last night we went to watch confessions of a shopoholic which was the type of movie i will like. Before the movie we went shopping and i bought pretty tights and PJs lol... We watched the movie at the halfpipe cinema which had bean bags and me n JL shared a bean bag which was sooo comfy...

Today we went to ikea for JL's bolster and i bought a new cute bolster to cuddle which is a long panda!! hahaha... we were suppose to meet zhongyong in ikea but there was probably conflict like he called me n i did not pick up!! not on purpose and stuff and he got angry and went home =( SOOO SORRRYYYYYYYY!!!! for dinner we went to ying thai for thai food. We had to sit outside because it was full but luckily we had the heater beside us! The spicy food and the cold OMG it was the most bad experience!! but the food was good. N we went for gelati after that!! We bought a large pack home coz it was soo crowded and there was no place inside. Ice cream + outdoor do not mix well so we ate at home. After scooping out my gelati to a bowl, JL was so bad that he asked me to "fuck off" coz it was his turn to take. Damn bad lorrr.... becoz of gelati!! =( Anyway we're going for a movie again midnite show!! =) Fast and Furious YAY ^^ bye bye... heading out soon......

Just to update my blog~ =)

Sorry for not updating for sooooo long. I have been soooo busy in Uni and assignments. i'm also too lazy to update my blog. I'm quite excited that Jun Liong's coming to Melbourne this coming Thursday. Guess what, we're going to jason mraz in april, cirque d soleil in May and I just bought tickets to David Copperfield in august!!! OMG i used to love his magic when i was young. He's the most incredible magician! The tickets to his show is also super expensive. Can you believe the cheapest tickets to his show is 200 aud!! Such rip off but oh well he's my idol since young!! hahahah.... ohh and we're going to a ballet from china and i bought tickets to the nutcracker although going by myself!! I love the nutcracker!!!!!!

Apart from that, alot of good things are happening to me!! I wanted to take summer course next year in January and there is this course going to europe for 2 weeks!! haha... I was soo scared when i wanted to ask my dad coz he sure nag or lecture but guess wat he just said YES and said give him the details!! LOL... I love my dad! (again mabel.. yes i love my dad coz he allows me to go to the trip) The trip is like 2 weeks and there is 3 choices: italy (milan), france (brest) and germany(cologne).
Well my 1st choice is definately milan and maybe germany 2nd! I'm gonna listen to the talk soon and apply to milan asap!! Hope i get to go there!! Milan Milan here i come!!! I get to bring a partner to stay with me so maybe my sister wants to tag along! She's more excited than me..

On the other hand, there are still bad things happening to me!! there r heaps of assignments due and I have to go back to school for meetings during the Easter break. =( Sucks... i have around 5 assignments and 2 oral presentation... Damn sien... haih.... Well there are sure ups and downs in life. I <3 my life.... =)

1st week of Uni and Moomba fireworks

1st week of Uni is over Thank God this is a long weekend. It was only 1st week of Uni and I already have 2 assignments =(. I had lab orientation with the labs for Food tech is damn strict. Remember I said I bought 5 colours of OPI. OMG I cant use them anymore! There is a rule saying no jewelries allowed and no nail polish! OMG OMG OMG... =( the lab technitions are meanies. Well... we don't get to dress up to labs or there is no use dressing up either because we have to wear lab glasses, lab coats, freaking hairnets, best long pants and closed toes shoes. How pretty can we look =(

Yesterday (saturday) I wentback to ballet finally.. My toes hurt freaking ALOT!! it was a 2 n half hours class.. went there with Janine.. really can't stand 1 hour on pointe =( haven't been doing pointe for a year already! I have to stregthen my ankles real soon!!

After ballet went to have dinner with zhongyong and went for Moomba fireworks!! They are really pretty! Took some videos of it!
